Kulbir Sandhu, MD

Dr. Kulbir Sandhu was born and raised in Scotland.  She received her M.D. degree from the University of Glasgow in Scotland in 1992 and served for one year as a Junior House Officer in Medicine and Surgery at University of Glasgow Affiliated Hospitals.  In 1993, Dr. Sandhu moved to the United States to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at The Johns Hopkins University Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.  After completing her residency, Dr. Sandhu entered private practice in Baltimore before moving to Richmond and joining Virginia Diabetes & Endocrinology, P.C. in December of 2005.  Dr. Sandhu’s areas of special interest include Diabetes Mellitus and cardiovascular risk reduction.  When outside of work, Dr. Sandhu enjoys hiking, aerobics, and traveling.
